Successful Poster Presentation by PhD Student and FDE Carina Pereira Fernandes

With great joy I announce that the PhD student and forensic document examiner Carina Pereira Fernandes, whose thesis I co-supervise, has successfully presented her poster intitled “Alzheimer’s disease and static characteristics of handwriting – preliminary findings” at the 2019 European network of forensic handwriting examiners (ENFHEX) conference that took place in Porto, Portugal.

Fernandes is researching the very interesting subject of the influence of Alzheimer disease on the characteristics of handwriting. She is lab manager and a forensic document expert at the NCForenses – Ciências Forenses lab of Forensic Document Examination.

Go, Carina!
