With joy I announce that the paper I wrote with my colleague Nikolaos Kalantzis titled “The use of the verbal scale of results in the Forensic Document Examination” was published in the law journal “Penal Justice” (vol 8-9/2021).

Abstract:

During the completion of a forensic investigation, the examiner forms a conclusion regarding the given mandate. As mentioned in the relevant literature, the stipulation of the conclusion is very important for the next phases of the case. In this article the various verbal scales of conclusions that appear in Greek Forensic Handwriting Examination reports are being reviewed, and the official German scale is being presented, which is a complete and logical system of conclusion scaling, correlated with available evidence.
