Lecture in the Continuing Education Symposium 2022 of the Association of Forensic Document Examiners,

The Continuing Education Symposium 2022 of the Association of Forensic Document Examination was concluded with success. In this event I had the opportunity to present the current stage of research regarding the application of in-air trajectories in the forensic examination of digitally captured signatures. The scientific dialogue and the correspondence with colleagues was a useful and pleasant experience.

It is noted that in-air trajectories can be defined as the invisible movements that are executed when the pen is lifted from the writing surface. These trajectories are recorded by an electronic capturing device and presented and analyzed by specialized software.
