My connection with the Association of Forensic Document Examination (http://afde.org/ ) started during June 2017, when I was invited in the 17^th conference of International Graphonomics Society in Gaeta, Italy (http://www.chartoularios.gr/el/17o-sinedrio-tis-international-graphonomics-society-stin-gaeta-tis-italias-stis-18-iouniou-tou-2017/). Soon enough I became a member of AFDE and in the October 2017 I gave a lecture in the AFDE Conference in Reno, NV, USA, titled “Effect of visual feedback in the static and kinematic characteristics of handwriting”

Based on the above, it was a great pleasure for me when I was asked to become a member of the editorial board of the Journal of Forensic Document Examination, which AFDE publishes. I witness this position as a very interesting challenge.
